Mimis Cafe

i spent my day yesterday feeling fulfilled.
i started my day with a hot shower using my new body wash, all the bad smelly air that was released by my husband's a_ _ in the morning has been replaced by a powdery smell because of that body wash. feeling hungry and refresh, i head off to get some breakfast.
mimis cafe located in cerritos was not my first choice to go to but i had some last minute changes since it is located near the farmers market.

i started by ordering this cappuccino with cinnamon on top. i was a bit saddened because they didn't put any design on top my coffee. a simple smile can really make a big difference. the coffee was really good except that i am not really a fan of cinnamon so i just end up removing it c").

i ordered the crabcake florentine benedict, which consist of two poach eggs, spinach, crabcake lemon hollandaise and potatoes. it was really yummy but for me, there is still something missing and they kinda overdid the eggs a bit. overall, i gave it a 6 out of 10.

the restaurant itself is really nice, i like the interior design and the bar with small lamps, its so kyoot. the waitresses was really friendly. i would certainly love to go back to mimis cafe.
oh, earlier when i was looking at their website so i can put a link here, i found out that they give out free breakfast if you join their club, so what are you waiting for, join now!

Carmel-by-the-sea

we went to carmel last week for a few days to de-stress ourselves from a hard days work and for some lovey dovey time together. the place is very beautiful little romantic place. imagine a small version of beverly hills + huntington beach combined and place it deep within a forest, that is how i'll describe
carmel-by-the-sea. the view going there is also a bonus, you'll be amazed with pulchritudinous scenery that surrounds you.
hotelwe stayed at this classy hotel, the hofsas house. oh boy, the staff was very accommodating and friendly. it was a very charming old hotel. we were greeted by some delicious dessert and champagne with free champagne glass as a souvenir. the free candy by the reception area are the best.
foodsi cannot really tell exactly how much food i ate after staying there for four days, but one thing is for sure, i gained weight. here are some of the foods that i chow down.
the placesince it is a small town we decided not to use our car and instead walk around it as per advised also by the manager of the hotel where staying. it was a very good decision indeed because we got to enjoy this alluring town.
the wanderer
this is me, my husband is a bit blogger shy.
so if your planning a wedding, party or even a short vacation, drop by carmel over monterey and i'm sure you'll love it.
